Interested in heritage, history, or volunteering in your local community? Our Preparing for Heritage Volunteering course is a friendly, accessible introduction to the heritage sector in Scotland – no previous experience needed. Upon completion of this course, you will be awarded a Certificate in Cultural Heritage (SCQF Level 5 & 6).
Volunteering Element:
Participants will take part in a practical volunteering experience at the Japanese Garden in Dollar, gaining hands-on experience within a real heritage setting.
What the course includes:

🔹 Sharing Heritage Stories (SCQF Level 5)
✨ Optional Units:
🔹 Caring for Heritage (SCQF Level 5)
🔹 Creating and Conducting Guided Tours (SCQF Level 6)
🏆 Certification:
Complete all required units to gain the Certificate in Cultural Heritage, or receive individual unit certificates for each unit completed.
